Recipe and Art
Unfortunately, the past few days I have been swamped with work, which is part of the reason for this abbreviated post. However, I still found some time for cooking, as well as time for date night, including a couples art class with my beloved hubby, best known for his GO RORO collage. It was really fun!
Keep reading after the jump for a link to the quesadilla recipe and a photo of our painting.
So recently I saw this recipe posted on The Way to His Heart and I knew I had to make it ASAP. While Maeghan, the blog's author, suggested the quesadilla as good for lunch and my husband says it should be an appetizer, I think it also makes for an excellent late night dinner. The quesadilla was simple, delicious, and quick...in short, it was everything I hoped it would be. However, this recipe was so good that I really didn't change it. So I wasn't planning to post it (just to eat it). But then I got to thinking that I still wanted to share the recipe with all of you in case you hadn't spotted it before. Where is the rest of it you ask? I...um...ate it...before I decided to feature the recipe on my blog.
And now for the art...see our painting below. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with it overall, especially since neither of us has painted since junior high or high school. Our art teacher said the light green he added was a "game changer." What do you think?
